You Are Not Alone!

6302ceff1a5669ea453ba1647aaa633b--angel-s-angel-wings.jpgDid you know that your are always being sent messages from angels, guides, loved ones that have passed, nature, the universe?  We, as humans, are so busy rushing around and not being conscious of what is going on around us that we miss the fact that we are always being guided and are never alone.

There are a number of books that address what the various messages from the natural world and the more mundane world are all about.  A couple of my favorites are “Nature Speak” and “Animal Speak” byTed Andrews  and “Sacred Signs and Symbols” by Sherrie Dillard.  The various divination cards are also helpful.  The Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams and Doreen Virtue’s many decks such as the Ascended Masters and Archangel cards.  These can all be helpful in figuring out what messages you are being sent….that is if you slow down and pay attention.  🙂

In the last few months, I have made it my daily practice to pay attention to what is going on around me, especially to unusual or repetitive sightings or events.  And BOY has it been interesting.  When you ask to have signs shown to you they show up like crazy!!  I was feeling lonely and bereft when Sky left and I needed to know that even though there was no other human here that I did have entities that were watching over me, so I asked to be shown that that was true!  Wow!!  It has been an interesting ride!  I will share a few of the more extraordinary things that have shown up that really can’t be explained away.

I was finding pennies all over the place, in the washing machine, on the floor, in my pockets, on shelves, etc.  Now Sherrie Dillard explains that they are a sign from angels.  Well, of course, all of those findings could easily be explained away BUT I had one penny show up in a place it really couldn’t have gotten to!!  I have a metal colander which I use to wash grapes from the store.  I then leave them in the collider, on the counter so that I can snack on them at my leisure.  I was nearing the end of a bunch of grapes when I felt something metal in the bottom of the colander.  Yup!  There was a penny!!  Now, there is NO way that could have gotten there by human hands.  It wasn’t there when I put the grapes in the colander and no one else lives here!  Hmmmm!

I have a tiny iPod I use when I go running.  For 3 times in a row when I went to use it it was turned on and it is very difficult to turn on, you have to slide a very small lever to the side.  I make sure I turn it off every time I am done so the battery won’t run down.  After finding it on the first time I even checked it between times to make sure it was still off and it always was…..until I went for my run and it was turned on again!!  Again, no one else is in the house but me and it was sitting on a shelf on the bookcase where no animal could get to it.  Hmmmmm!

In April we had a big snowstorm.  I was sitting by the window reading and doing computer work all morning and a small bird kept coming to the window and fluttering its wings against it, almost like he was trying to get my attention for some reason.  After over 2 hours of it coming back over and over again, I decided to check the bird feeder which was on the other side of the house.  Despite my having filled it that morning it was empty.  I filled it, sat down again to do work and never saw the bird again. Hmmmmm!!!

A couple of months ago I noticed one of my dogs looking out the window at something.  I followed her gaze and saw her staring at a doe outside the fence.  Now, we get very few deer here and when we do get them, the dogs go running out the dog door barking like crazy and the deer head for the hills.  Libra, being the gentle soul that she is, did go out the dog door and walked to the fence as the deer came to her and they rubbed noses through the fence until the rest of the dogs got wind of what was going on and went crashing out barking and going crazy.  The deer did NOT run away but came towards the dogs that were  in a frenzy trying to climb the fence or tear it down with their teeth to get at the deer.  I FINALLY got all the dogs in the house and closed all doors.  The deer hung around for awhile then wandered off.  BUT was right back the next morning keeping me from taking the dogs for their morning walk.  Finally, it wandered off once again.  I searched all around for it as I needed to take the dogs up the driveway to the shop where I feed them.  I was convinced the deer had left and we made it to the shop with no sightings.  It took me only 10 minutes to feed the dogs and as I was going into the back of the barn to close the door, I look out and see the deer right outside the big doors out back!!!  Crap,  I had 2 dogs outside!!  I ran around front, got those dogs in and went back out.  The deer was now by the greenhouse, I walked towards it and it walked towards me and we MET!!!  We stood there with me petting the deer and talking to it.  I then told it to follow me, which it did, to where the gate was.  I opened the gate, it went out and disappeared into the bushes by the creek never to be seen again.  HMMMMMM!!

As I said, it has been “interesting” and these are just a few of the “interesting” things that have been occurring the last several months.  I definitely don’t feel that I am alone!  I am grateful that the “spirits” have been letting me know that they are close by and watching over me, it is very comforting to really feel their presence in these difficult times.

SO, pay attention to how guides, angels and loved ones are “talking” to you and guiding you, there are lots of messages being offered to us that we are missing. Our guides are always with us and willing to help if we would only be aware!  🙂

Until next time….be fearless in listening to those who want to speak to you and support you in your earth walk.

  1. Once again you have found a way to touch on the very things I am thinking. How do we recognize those gifts we are given every day. Slowing down helps but it can also be a hindrance. It makes us complacent: it makes us slow in understand or experiencing the fullness of life- and that includes everything you are talking about here. Keep on keeping on and realize you are truly not alone in your journey 😉
